You are absolutely correct. The output of the framework is a model. No model is perfect and so no framework is perfect. It is also iterative as we improve the models to fit our outcome. A framework is a guide to help you simplify a complex problem. Ultimately, one should use sound judgment and be data-informed in their decision making.

Also, it is valuable to use metrics and counter-metrics to guide building your model that will help with decision making.
